Youth Cafe at St. Frances DeSales Church

The children of Youth Cafe at St. Frances DeSales Church recently hosted a lock-in to benefit the Foundation under the guidance of Mrs. Carol Dye and raised $1,005 by asking for family members to sponsor them while they were locked in the church overnight on February 19, 2011. In addition, they were graced by a Make-A-Wish presentation from one of our most generous volunteers, Pauline Follmer. They played some games and had some lessons presented to them during their sleepover. When the congregation attended Sunday morning Mass, the delicious aromas of the baked goodies that the group worked on all night wafted up into the church. After Sunday Mass, the Youth Group had a very successful bake sale from their culinary creations from overnight.
