Boo & Brew Bash 2011

Vikings, lobsters and Tinkerbell, too... they were among the 150 Pittsburghers who came out for the spooktacular 2011 Boo & Boo Bash on Pittsburgh's North Shore on Saturday, October 22, 2011. Costumed guests stopped at the Rivertowne North Shore, Finnigan's Wake, Mullen's Bar & Grille and Tilted Kilt during this event to make wishes come true. Guests made their way to all the participating venues on the North Shore, making sure to take advantage of the free Halloween drinks offered at each stop. Organizer Erich DiCenzo is pictured here enjoying a bewitching brew with Make-A-Wish Manager of Special Events Stephanie Pugliese. Lots of spooky fun was had by all who attend the McFadden's Restaurant and Saloon after party, which featured free food, a DJ, dancing, costume contest, and Chinese auction, from 10 p.m. to midnight. More than $3,000 was raised for the Make-A-Wish Foundation at this great event. This spooky couple won the costume contest! Lots of guests got in the spirit of Halloween by coming to the event in costumes...one Make-A-Wish supporter came as a hot dog!
Another as a lobster... The cowboy and the Pan Am stewardess... Make-A-Wish staff members Lisa Welsh and Brittany Youngman took part in the fun event as an 80s girl and the Cat in the Hat! Lisa poses with her husband Mikey. It was a magical night, where appearances were made by wizards from Hogwarts (Make-A-Wish Program Services Assistant Donna DuBois (middle) and her fiance) and Tinkerbell. Thanks to all who made this event a success and helped make wishes come true!
